This afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting Allen who came to address some recurring problems with my furnace and ended up cleaning it. He spent quality time with me, addressing all of my concerns and installed a new furnace filter, the right size that sun have not been able to locate.

I will be using them for any future annual maintenance if I continue to live in this home. I would love to have Allen back as my service rep, as he was very courteous and professional.

We had multiple bids to install a Mitsubishi ductless heater in our home. GS was the most professional, best reviewed and had a great rating from the Better Business Bureau. They also gave us the best bid for a better unit than the other two companies. The gave us a PUD discounts since they are a contracted PUD installer. The other companies gave us a higher price and then negotiated down 10% when we didn't respond right away. GS gave us the best bid from the start. GS arranged all of the permits needed for the work (one of the companies suggested we did not need a permit and asked if we had our own electrician to do the work). They have their own liscenced electricians and installers which were very professional and friendly. They did a fantastic job and we could not be happier with our new heating unit. It actaully exceeds our expectations. GS is the company you want to go with for ductless heat pumps!

We appreciate the excellent service we always receive from G&S. They've helped us with electrical, plumbing, and heating repairs and we wouldn't consider hiring anyone else. This repair was no different. Ryan arrived on-time and worked efficiently, quickly diagnosing that the heat pump issue was a minor problem with the reversing valve. Years ago we had situations where other other contractors would point us towards major work and costs when the actual issue was minor. We value the honesty and expertise of every G&S field tech we've dealt with! Thank you, G&S!

In the dead of winter, mid-pandemic, with an impending major snowstorm on the way, I was very grateful to have two wonderful furnace technicians (Dylan & Tyler) and a knowledgeable generator expert (Johnny) at my house just one day after I called for service.
They have always been great, but this time was extra-special, given the weather forecast. I’m deeply appreciative that they are willing to go the extra mile for their customers.

*Updated review: Service was good, technicians were decently quiet which was nice since they arrived during my sons nap time. Got everything done that we needed. Hopefully future scheduling will go smoother. Would have appreciated more than one attempt at contact when they had to cancel our initial appointment.*will update this review when and if they show up on our now rescheduled appointment day.

G&S installed a generator for me 2 years ago and I was impressed with their work. Due to a furnace failure I had to call for service on a Saturday and I called G&S. Ryan, the technician who came out, was prompt, polite, professional and competent. He did the work efficiently and thoroughly. Hopefully I won't have a furnace or heat pump problem for a long time, but when I do I'll call G&S again.

Best bang for the buck on a new heat pump. New unit to replace a pump that was 39 years old. The new unit is incredibly quiet and warm. Install happened over two days. Two cosmetic issues were fixed with no hassle two weeks after install. I highly recommend.

I just got my Tankless water heater and Furnace tuned up for $188 each and I had my pipes replaced due to some corrosion. My service technician Ryan Kelleher replaced them with copper pipes and brass elbows and it looked beautiful when he was done with it. He also did it in a timely manner which saved me some $$$. The pipe replacement cost me $215. So far my 3 year relationship with G&S heating has been a good one. So far all I have had from G&S is great quality work and honesty from their sales team and Technicians. Ryan did such a good job im going to request him every year I do my serving for my Furnace and Water. I don't care if I have to push my appt out couple week he did a really good job. Any questions I threw at him he had an answer. As long as G&S stays like it is i will always recommend them to anyone needing a new Furnace or just maintenance. I have after pics of when Ryan just finished but I'm not sure if I can get them to post to this page. we will see. Thanks G&S heating for being there for me.

A Message to Our Customers

To our Customers and Employees,

We are reaching out to inform you that G&S Heating, Cooling & Electrical is taking the spread of COVID-19 very seriously. We are fully operational to serve the comfort needs of our customers, and as we continue to provide service and installations throughout the greater Puget Sound area, we want to assure you that the well-being of our community is our top priority. Following recommendations from both the CDC and the Washington State Department of Health, we have taken and are continuing to take measures of precaution to ensure the safety and wellness of our customers and employees.

At our facilities

  • Employees have been instructed to adhere to CDC recommendations for sanitization and social- distancing.
  • Employees who have any cold or flu symptoms are required to stay at home until symptom free for at least 3 days or 7 days after symptom onset, whichever is
  • Should an employee have exposure to someone who has a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, they are expected to remain home for 14 days for health
  • Hand sanitizing stations have been setup throughout our
  • Frequency of sanitization in our facilities has been increased and cleaning crews are taking extra precautions throughout their regular deep
  • All in person team meetings and group functions have been cancelled for the time
  • Personnel who can perform their jobs from home are doing
  • We are limiting contact and practicing social-distancing with our vendors and other potential outside visitors.

In your home

  • Our field staff has been trained be mindful of sanitization in your home and they have been equipped with gloves, disinfectant and
  • Although, our technicians will not arrive to your home wearing a mask, they will be happy to wear one at your request. It is standard practice for a technician to wear a mask if entering a crawl space or attic area.
  • Our technicians have been informed to respect social distancing in your
  • Our technicians have been instructed to follow these procedures:
    • Use gloves whenever
    • Wipe down all equipment or thermostats at the completion of the
    • Frequently wipe down their tablet using disinfecting
    • Frequently wipe down the inside of their vehicle and frequently touched items with disinfecting
  • Our customers are no longer asked for signatures on

Please inform us in advance of your appointment if you or anyone in your household are showing any of the symptoms of the Coronavirus or have tested positive for the Coronavirus. The World Health Organization has identified symptoms as shortness of breath, fever, and persistent cough. We will work together to find a solution for the services you need while ensuring the safety of everyone involved.

Should we find that any changes to our scheduling is necessary during this time, we will let you know as soon as we know. We are continuously monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will take whatever measures are necessary to ensure the safety of you and our staff.

Lastly, there are a couple of things found to be very effective in keeping the air in your home clean and safe. First, ductwork collects dust, dirt and pollen and over time can become a breeding ground for mold, mildew and germs that can irritate allergies and create odors. Annual duct cleaning can prevent the spread of these pollutants in your home. Second, indoor air quality products actually prevent these contaminants from getting there in the first place. They work to continuously destroy cold and flu viruses and other pollutants both in the air and on surfaces before they have a chance to spread.
