Is a Tankless Water Heater Right for Me?

Are you ready to replace your water heater? Do you have a brand new property under construction that is going to require the installation of a brand new water heater? In either case, you are wise to give the use of a tankless water heater in Everett, WA some serious consideration. Tankless water heaters, quite simply, offer a number of benefits that tank water heaters simply cannot compete with. If you are in the market for a new water heater, work with our technicians to ensure that you have the right system for your needs in place.

What Are the Benefits of a Tankless Water Heater?

The tankless water heater does not store hot water in a tank, as you’ve probably figured out for yourself. This in and of itself is a major benefit. Why? Standby energy loss. It is true that modern hot water tanks are more efficient than ever before. However, there is no hot water tank that can completely eliminate the risk of standby energy loss.

Standby energy loss is the phenomena in which heat from the water within a hot water tank transfers through that tank. Heat is naturally going to move toward cooler environments. The air surrounding a hot water tank is cooler than the air inside, so the heat in that water, as it sits in storage, can move through the tank into the air surrounding it. Eliminating the need for a tank entirely eliminates this problem.

Additionally, tankless water heaters are quite compact. Do you have little room to spare in your home? Why take that space up with a water heater tank, then? A tankless water heater can be installed against the wall in a small closet, or similarly small areas.
